Immobileyes is hiring a Post-Doc (Physics/Optics) or Optical Engineer to support the design, build, and testing of next-generation laser and optical systems. The role is centered on advanced physics, optics, laser systems, optical engineering, and electro-optical / directed-energy development for counter-drone and force-protection missions.

The company is a Kent, Ohio-based defense technology firm working on electro-optical and directed-energy solutions with real-world deployment impact. The position involves hands-on research and development, including optical element design, system modeling, integration into sensors (EO/IR, RF, etc.), experimental laboratory work, and prototype testing. You would work alongside experienced scientists, program managers, and engineers on projects supporting DoD and defense research programs.
