National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Kundli is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) for a research project led by Dr. Komal Chauhan, Professor at NIFTEM. The project focuses on Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) and explores innovative food science solutions using underutilized blended oils stabilized with goji berry bioactives.

This is a research-intensive opportunity at the intersection of Food Science, Nutrition, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, and metabolic health. The project title is: Attenuation of Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) by Underutilized Blended Oils Stabilized with Goji Berry Bioactives: A Multi-Model Approach. The appointment is for 24 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

Eligible applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition, Nutrition & Dietetics, Food Science Technology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or allied sciences. NET/GATE qualification is preferred, and a strong publication record in relevant research areas is desirable.

The position is based at NIFTEM, Kundli, offering hands-on experience in a world-class institutional environment and a multi-model research design focused on functional foods, bioactives, and disease attenuation.
