Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets from phenotyping platforms, innovating image analysis algorithms, collaborating with international research teams, developing research proposals, and supervising students. The fellow will contribute to crop improvement research and help establish collaborations within UM6P and with external partners.
Eligibility and Requirements: Applicants must have a PhD in plant sciences, computational biology, bioengineering, or a related field with a focus on image analysis. Required qualifications include experience with image processing software, plant biology and physiology (especially stress responses), high-throughput phenotyping tools, and data analysis. A strong publication record, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to work in diverse, multidisciplinary teams are essential.
