Postdoc Positions in Secure Cyber-Physical Systems, Quantum-AI Defense, and Trustworthy AI at the University of Calgary University of Calgary in Canada

Multiple postdoctoral positions are open at the Smart Cyber-Physical Systems (SCPS) Lab at the University of Calgary in Canada. The openings are centered on two research directions: Adaptive Quantum-AI Defense Architectures and Secure and Trustworthy AI for Autonomous Decision-Making.

The first project focuses on developing self-learning, zero-trust, and post-quantum-ready security frameworks that can respond autonomously and improve resilience over time. The second project targets reliable, explainable, privacy-aware, and cyber-resilient AI methods for safe decision-making under uncertainty in smart environments. These topics sit at the intersection of computer science, electrical engineering, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and cyber-physical systems.

Preferred applicants should have a strong background in AI-driven cybersecurity, quantum computing, or cyber-physical/OT systems. Experience with machine learning, graph neural networks, or quantum algorithms is specifically valued. The post also highlights the importance of an excellent publication record and strong communication skills.
