The fellow will work under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and contribute to cutting-edge studies focused on bacterial genomics, antibacterial research, and translational approaches to critical health challenges.

The role emphasizes hands-on research and professional development in experimental design, data analysis, scientific writing, and grant preparation. Responsibilities include designing and executing complex studies, conducting in vitro and in vivo antibacterial experiments, analyzing genomic and computational data, preparing manuscripts and reports, mentoring trainees, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

Eligibility requires a Ph.D. or equivalent in Microbiology, Immunology, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related biomedical field, completed within the last 5 years or expected before the start date. Applicants should have experience in antimicrobial resistance, antibacterial drug discovery, genomics, or bacterial immunology, plus a strong publication record and excellent communication skills. Preferred experience includes BSL-2/BSL-3 work, animal handling, multidrug-resistant pathogens, biofilms, Python/R/Perl, machine learning/AI, CRISPR, microbiome analysis, and advanced statistics.
