This opportunity is for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Civic Studies focused on one of two research areas: (1) how people speak and listen across disagreement on controversial issues, and how such engagement can be improved; or (2) how certain forms of intellectual work gain influence within academia while others remain marginal, and how these differences should be evaluated and addressed. The role combines independent research, teaching (two courses introducing students to central debates on intellectual pluralism), and participation in seminars, workshops, and collaborative research activities.
