Stockholm University is advertising a Postdoctoral Fellow in Probability and Mathematical Statistics in the Department of Mathematics. The project is centered on probability theory, statistics, mathematical statistics, large language models (LLMs), and point processes, with applications in the prediction of individual health conditions.

The position is led by Associate Professor Mathias Millberg Lindholm in the Division of Mathematical Statistics. Eligibility: applicants must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent relevant degree from another country, completed by the time the employment decision is made. A doctorate completed within the last three years is considered an advantage, though older degrees may also be acceptable under special circumstances. Strong research skills in the advertised area are especially important.
