The School of Computing and Electrical Engineering (SCEE) at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi invites applications for two Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) positions under the guidance of Assistant Professor Adarsh Patel. The research group focuses on next-generation wireless communications, including 5G/6G/xG technologies, intelligent communication systems, and the integration of AI/ML algorithms in communication networks. Key research areas include signal processing, quantum communications, encryption algorithms, and the theoretical development of AI/ML methods for communication systems.

The Infocomm Lab at IIT Mandi is engaged in cutting-edge research on topics such as ISAC, XL-MIMO, NTN, cooperative communication, cognitive radio, resource allocation, and tensor-based signal processing. The lab's recent publications highlight advancements in pilot-free data detection, efficient multi-user detectors for massive MIMO, and optimal detection strategies in ambient backscatter communication systems. The group collaborates on both theoretical and applied aspects of wireless networks, with a strong emphasis on innovation and interdisciplinary approaches.

The fellowship offers a competitive monthly stipend of ₹80,000 plus HRA, with an initial duration of two years and the possibility of extension for an additional year based on performance. Applicants should hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with demonstrated expertise in wireless communications, signal processing, or AI/ML. Strong analytical and programming skills are highly valued.
