The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Brandyn Churchill on research projects examining the impact of federal funding on obesity outcomes, with sponsorship from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). This position is ideal for early career researchers with expertise in applied microeconomics, public policy, public health, or related fields.

The fellowship is fully funded, with a competitive salary range of $70,000–$80,000 per year, and is renewable for up to two years depending on external funding. No teaching duties are required, allowing the fellow to focus entirely on research. The position may also provide additional research funding for projects aligned with the grant’s mission.
