Requirements
Applicants must hold a PhD in Cell Biology, Neuroscience, Bioengineering, or a related field. Required skills include expertise in iPSC culture, differentiation, and 3D co-cultures; cellular/molecular techniques such as scRNAseq, FACS, IHC, ELISA, PCR, and confocal microscopy; background in neurodegenerative disease modeling (ideally ALS or related pathologies); genetic engineering including designing and optimizing genetic cassettes; strong analytical skills for phenotypic data interpretation and assay optimization; and excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities. Preferred qualifications include experience with organ-on-chip development, high-content screening in organoids, drug screening, pharmacology, ADMET profiling, computational analysis of multi-omic data, AI frameworks (NLP, GNN, RL), familiarity with ALS patient cell repositories, and knowledge of AI frameworks.
