The main responsibilities include defining structural reliability curves for various reference periods, participating in SHM strategies to reduce uncertainty by integrating measured data, and developing an LCA framework to select appropriate sustainability indicators for decision-making. Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent in civil engineering or a related discipline. Essential technical skills include proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA), Python, and MatLab. Candidates should have experience with instrumentation of structures, structural health monitoring, and decision-making based on structural reliability. Professional experience in writing technical research papers and presenting at international conferences is highly valued, as is prior involvement in research activities within university or industrial settings. Language requirements include basic Catalan, good English, and good Spanish. Teamwork, adaptability, and strong communication skills are also required.
