University Medicine Essen is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position within the UMESciA program, with a specific project in cardio-oncology hosted by Tienush Rassaf and Lars Michel. The project is titled “Multimodal Characterization of Immune-Mediated Cardiotoxicity from Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Therapy” and focuses on immune-cardiology, immune-mediated cardiotoxicity, mitochondria, and translational research.

The research combines mechanistic studies in suitable cell models, a novel preclinical model, and patient-derived data in a highly translational environment.
