The Laboratory for Nuclear Technologies Applied to the Environment at the University of Ferrara is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for a project in geoneutrino science. Geoneutrinos, antineutrinos produced by radioactive decays inside the Earth, provide unique insights into the planet’s radiogenic heat and deep structure. This research sits at the intersection of particle physics, Earth sciences, and computer science, and is conducted within a group with a strong tradition in geoneutrino research and active participation in major international collaborations, including the JUNO experiment—one of the largest neutrino experiments worldwide.

The position is full-time, on-site in Ferrara, Italy, with a net monthly salary of approximately €1350.
