Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Southern Denmark is advertising a postdoctoral position in theoretical and computational chemistry within the Computational and Theoretical Inorganic Chemistry / Hedegård group.

The project is led by Erik D. Hedegård and focuses on two main research directions: QM/MM applications to bioinorganic catalysts for C–H activation, and development of quantum chemical methods for transition metal systems. This is a strong fit for candidates interested in quantum chemistry, physical chemistry, computational chemistry, and related interdisciplinary work at the chemistry/physics interface.

The appointment is for two years, with a flexible starting date expected in summer or autumn 2026 and no later than December 2026. The deadline to apply is 25 May 2026.
