Exciting postdoctoral opportunities are available at K. N. Toosi University of Technology for top Iranian researchers interested in satellite imagery, GeoXAI, and environmental resilience. Two postdoc positions are open for projects focusing on satellite imagery processing for multi-hazard monitoring and the application of GeoXAI in analyzing environmental resilience. The research will involve advanced techniques in remote sensing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and geospatial science, utilizing tools such as Python, GIS, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

The positions are funded by the INSF or Connect Program and will last for 12 months, starting in July 2026. Applicants must have completed their PhD within the last two years from a top-ranked university in relevant fields such as Remote Sensing, AI/ML, or Geospatial Science. A strong publication record, especially in Q1 journals, is highly desirable.
