Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST), Qingdao, China is recruiting 4–6 Postdoctoral Research Fellows in the College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering.

The positions are in the research groups supervised by Prof. Qiang Zhang (Dean) and Prof. Yun-Fei Fu, with research topics focused on structural optimization design, topology optimization, strength analysis of fiber-reinforced composites, additive manufacturing, and related areas in mechanical engineering and computational mechanics.

Funding is attractive: a base salary of RMB 200,000/year from SDUST plus an additional RMB 7,000/month subsidy from the Qingdao Government. The post is also described as tax-free for first-time international scholars in China subject to policy, and successful applicants may be eligible for Chinese postdoctoral funding programs.
