About this position
We are advertising a Postdoctoral Research Assistant (PDRA) in Bioengineering at the University of Hull / Hull York Medical School, in a multidisciplinary project funded by Breakthrough T1D.
The project aims to develop advanced human in vitro pancreas models to better understand type 1 diabetes and accelerate human-relevant disease modelling. The research sits at the interface of biomaterials, tissue engineering, 3D bioprinting, microfluidics, and potentially AI and broader biomedical sciences.
The team includes Amin Ardestani (Associate Professor / UK Senior Lecturer, University of Hull), Dr Amirpasha Moetazedian (University of Hull), and Dr Mo Lotfollahi (Wellcome Sanger Institute). The post is aimed at candidates with strong expertise in biomaterials, tissue engineering, and/or 3D bioprinting, and an interest in collaborative bioengineering research.
This is a postdoctoral opening, not a PhD or Masters call. The post is advertised through the University of Hull careers portal, and the job advert link is provided in the post.
Interested applicants should read the full advert, check the role-specific requirements, and submit an application through the official portal. If you have questions, the poster invites direct contact.
