Texas A&M University is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate in wireless communications and AI/ML-enabled communication systems.

The position is based in the lab of Sabit Ekin, Associate Professor and Director of the Generative AI Literacy Initiative at Texas A&M University. The research focus includes next-generation wireless networks, 5G/6G systems, integrated sensing and communications, wireless sensing, signal processing, optimization, and intelligent/autonomous communication systems.

The postdoc will conduct high-quality research, develop and evaluate algorithms, apply AI/ML methods to communication and sensing problems, collaborate with Ph.D. students, prepare journal and conference manuscripts, and support research proposals, technical reports, simulations, datasets, prototypes, and demonstrations.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Strong experience in wireless communications, networking, signal processing, optimization, and/or AI/ML is preferred, along with programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or relevant AI/ML frameworks. A strong publication record and technical writing ability are also expected.
