Postdoctoral Research Fellow position available at the McCance Center for Brain Health, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School in the laboratory of Dr. Christiane Wrann at the Charlestown Research Campus.

The lab studies the molecular mechanisms behind the beneficial effects of exercise on the brain, with a strong focus on neurodegenerative diseases and neuroinflammatory conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis. Research themes include brain health, metabolism, secreted factors, de novo neurogenesis, synaptic plasticity, learning and memory, and therapeutic target discovery.

This is a postdoctoral opening for candidates with a strong research background and interest in neuroscience, biology, and medical science.
