The Institute for Basic Science's Biomedical Mathematics Group (BIMAG), located in Daejeon, South Korea, is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. The group is led by Associate Professor Jae Kyoung Kim, a renowned mathematical biologist specializing in AI × Math for sleep, circadian rhythms, and digital precision health.

The position is open to candidates within five years of receiving their Ph.D. or those expecting to obtain their Ph.D. within three months. Applicants should have a strong background in mathematical modeling or data analysis of biological systems. The role is research-focused with no teaching duties, allowing fellows to dedicate their time to advancing mathematical theories and computational tools for biomedical applications.

Successful candidates will receive an internationally competitive salary starting at over KRW 57,000,000 per year, along with travel funds, medical insurance, retirement benefits, and administrative support.
