Postdoctoral funded research opportunity in Advanced Materials Science at the University of Valencia in collaboration with the Institute of Molecular Sciences (ICMol), Spain. The position is within the Defect Engineering Team for Advanced Responsive Materials (DREAM) and focuses on the project Self-assembly of Multivariate Modulated MOFs.

This is a full-time funded postdoctoral position for 1 year, with the possibility of developing the research track further by applying for external grants and fellowships. The salary follows Spanish regulations. The work location is Valencia, Spain.

Research areas include metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), smart materials, organometallic structures, photocatalytic applications, defect engineering, and self-assembly mechanisms. The post also highlights advanced characterization and analysis methods such as X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, FTIR, NMR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, SAXS, PDF, and EXAFS.
