The Nuffield Department of Medicine at the University of Oxford is seeking two Postdoctoral Research Scientists to join the Uhlig Group at the Centre for Human Genetics. This opportunity focuses on the immunology of inflammatory bowel disease, aiming to translate advanced genomics and immune biology into personalized medicine. The research involves studying T and B cell biology, innate immune responses, and mucosal immunity using cutting-edge techniques such as advanced flow cytometry, antibody profiling, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, and complex in vitro disease models.

Successful candidates will explore immune cell heterogeneity and tissue biology in human disease, combining wet lab immunology with multi-omic computational analysis. The role is highly collaborative and interdisciplinary, offering the chance to contribute to impactful research with direct clinical relevance. Responsibilities include contributing to publications, conferences, and grant development, all within a supportive and globally recognized research environment.

Applicants should hold a PhD (or be near completion) in immunology or a related field, with expertise in T and/or B cell immunology, particularly in mucosal or barrier tissues.
