Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant field (bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, molecular biology, cancer biology, or evolutionary biology) and have at least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Essential skills include strong programming abilities (R or Python), experience with bash, and a solid understanding of statistics. Experience with next generation sequencing, pipelines (NextFlow, Snakemake), and version control (GitHub) is advantageous. Excellent English communication skills are required; German is not necessary.
