This postdoctoral position at Aix-Marseille Université offers an exciting opportunity for researchers specializing in mathematics, particularly holomorphic dynamics and random tensor theory. The role is embedded within the ANR TAGADA project, a multidisciplinary initiative spanning several French cities and institutions, aiming to establish foundational research in random tensor theory and foster collaboration across quantum information theory, data science, and free probability for tensors.

As a member of the TAGADA research team, you will engage with topics such as tensor norms, random tensor networks, tensor moments of latent variable models, community detection on hypergraphs, and strong convergence for tensor representations. The project encourages participation in events and workshops, providing a vibrant academic environment for postdoctoral researchers to contribute and expand their expertise.

The position is based at the Institut de Mathématiques de Marseille (UMR 7373), located on the Campus Saint Charles in Marseille. The contract is temporary and full-time, initially for 18 months, with the possibility of renewal for a third year. The gross monthly salary ranges from 2600 to 3000 euros, depending on previous experience. Applicants must hold a PhD in mathematics or a closely related field and demonstrate strong experience or interest in at least one of the project’s research areas.
