Quality Manager Position in Food Science and Food Technology Al-Azhar University in Egypt

A Quality Manager position is open for experienced professionals in the field of Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related disciplines. The role is based at a confectionery manufacturing facility and focuses on overseeing and enhancing quality and food safety systems. Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining Quality & Food Safety Management Systems, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 standards (BRC is a plus), leading internal and external audits, overseeing quality control across production processes and raw materials, handling customer complaints, non-conformities, and CAPAs, and leading and developing the Quality team.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field, with at least 7–10 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably with exposure to confectionery products. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements, hands-on factory experience, and leadership skills are essential.
