The Research Explorer Ruhr program offers international doctoral researchers who have submitted their thesis and early postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to explore postdoctoral career options in Germany. Hosted in the Ruhr Area, this two-week summer program (21 June – 4 July 2026) includes networking events, lab visits, and career workshops at three leading universities. Participants will engage with professors, explore research compatibility, and learn about funding opportunities for future postdoctoral positions. The program is fully funded, covering travel, visa, and accommodation costs, and includes cultural activities to enhance the experience. Applicants should have a background in biomedical research, biology, medical science, or related fields, and be interested in pursuing a postdoc in Germany.
