Research Professor/Associate/Assistant/Scientist in Embodied Intelligence, Robotics, and HCI/XR at Qatar University Qatar University in Qatar

The KINDI Center for Computing Research at Qatar University is seeking a Research Professor, Associate, Assistant, or Scientist to lead innovative research in Embodied Intelligence, Robotics, HCI/XR, and AI-driven interactive systems. This opportunity is ideal for candidates passionate about advancing intelligent systems and immersive technologies in a dynamic research environment.

The successful candidate will lead cutting-edge research programs, design and evaluate advanced robotic prototypes, publish in top-tier venues (such as CoRL, RSS, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICRA, IROS, CHI, UIST), supervise BSc, MSc, and PhD students, teach one graduate-level course per semester, build and lead multidisciplinary research teams, and secure research funding while developing global collaborations.

Applicants should possess a PhD and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related fields, with a strong publication record and experience in leading research projects and securing grants. Teaching and supervision experience is preferred.
