About this position

Liquid I.V. is recruiting a Scientific Education Consultant – Scientific Affairs for its R&D Scientific Affairs team. This is a paid contract role focused on nutrition science, hydration science, sports nutrition, and scientific communication. The consultant will help develop and disseminate education materials, create engaging science-backed content for social media, consumer marketing, conference presentations, and other channels, and translate product science for both scientific and non-scientific audiences.

The role reports to the Principal Scientist, Scientific Education and Communication, and supports internal teams including Marketing and Sales. The company is looking for someone who can act as an internal expert on hydration, nutrition science, and product knowledge while staying current with scientific publications and updates in related fields.

Eligibility highlights: preferred Master’s in Nutrition or Exercise Science, or Registered Dietitian; at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in scientific communication and education; strong knowledge of nutrition trends, hydration and nutrition research, and social media education experience. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and be able to work in a hybrid environment in El Segundo, California.

Funding/compensation: 6-month contract, up to 20 hours per week, with compensation listed at $68 per hour.
