Seminar on career opportunities after the PhD/postdoc at University of Copenhagen University of Copenhagen in Denmark

Seminar announcement from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen for PhD students, postdocs, and supervisors interested in career opportunities after the PhD/postdoc.

The event focuses on career development, transferable skills, career planning, and the transition from academia to industry and the public sector. Speakers include Rikke Buhl (Professor, Head of Graduate School), Hans Bräuner (Vice-Dean for Research), Christian Kjær Monsson (Head of Research, Danish Industry), and Iben Treebak (career counsellor at UCPH Career Services for Early Career Researchers).

The program includes an analytical overview of PhD career transitions in Denmark, a panel debate with representatives from biotech companies and public employers, and practical advice on CVs, employer expectations, and preparing for a meaningful career beyond academia.

Eligibility: The seminar is aimed at early career researchers, especially PhD students and postdocs, plus their supervisors.

Funding: No scholarship or funding is offered; this is a free informational seminar/event.
