Key responsibilities include leading CDM activities from study start-up through database lock and closeout, establishing and documenting data management plans, query workflows, and cleaning strategies, performing in-stream data review, lab data oversight, and third-party data reconciliation. The role also involves collaborating with data management vendors, tracking critical metrics (KPIs), ensuring adherence to project timelines, identifying operational risks, and supporting regulatory inspection readiness, including audit support and documentation review. Compliance with Trial Master File (TMF) requirements and consistent application of CDISC, SDTM, ADaM, and AstraZeneca data standards are essential. The successful candidate will also mentor junior clinical data management professionals and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Applicants must have proven experience in study-level clinical data management, strong knowledge of EDC systems, user access testing, and query management, as well as hands-on experience with third-party data (central labs, imaging, devices). Expertise in data quality oversight, reconciliation, documentation review, vendor management, metrics, and operational timelines is required. Experience supporting regulatory inspections and audits is preferred. Desirable skills include familiarity with CDISC standards, experience with complex trial designs, interim analyses, migrations, and strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
