We're looking for applications for a fully-funded PhD studentship, based in IPParis, on the topic of "In-and-Out: A cognitively-grounded integration of indoor and outdoor spatial computing".

This project will combine empirical studies in spatial cognition in buildings, as well as the development of computational tools for design-decision-support. The project links with the wider efforts on human-centred and evidence-based design, spatial computing and architectural psychology. The position is excellent for a student coming from cognitive science / spatial cognition, architecture / space syntax / architectural computing, or HCI with a strong interest in spatial matters!

I'll be supervising the project at Télécom Paris / Institut Polytechnique de Paris, together with Jakub Krukar at University of Münster this project, so please get in touch if you want more info!
