Butterfly Group is recruiting for a Sr. Officer / Assistant Manager - VAT & Tax position in its Finance & Accounts department in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is a full-time corporate role focused on VAT, tax compliance, withholding tax, SAP reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.

The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting monthly VAT returns and price declarations, coordinating with VAT authorities, supporting SCM and AP teams on VAT/TDS matters, preparing withholding tax returns, managing annual tax filings (Corporate, WPPF, PF), assisting in tax assessments and appeals, and helping with SAP P2P automation and testing.

Eligibility highlights include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a corporate setting. Strong knowledge of VAT, tax, and regulatory compliance is required, and SAP experience is preferred. The post also emphasizes analytical ability, reconciliation skills, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
