The position is part of the EuroTech Universities Alliance PhD program, and the PhD candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Laboratory for Processing of Advance Composites led by Veronique Michaud at EPFL. Challenges include evaluating bio-based matrix systems, optimizing filament winding, characterizing mechanical properties, and demonstrating bio-based composites' feasibility in architectural applications.
