Do spread the word that we are offering a PhD studentship co-funded by the ESRC and BAM UK & Ireland based in the UCL Division of Psychiatry & The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction UCL .
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a PhD in public mental health using qualitative and evidence synthesis research methods supported by an academic and industry partnership. This doctoral project represents a unique collaboration between the UCL Division of Psychiatry and the UCL Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, partnered with BAM; a leading UK construction company.
The project will involve evidence synthesis and ethnographic approaches to understand the factors driving suicide risk among people working in the construction industry. Understanding occupational suicide risk is an important public mental health priority and a foundation for developing the interventions needed to mitigate risk.

Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
