The Department of Business Analytics and Statistics at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) is inviting applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in business analytics with a focus on applied artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML).

This is a faculty opening at a major U.S. university for candidates whose research and teaching interests align with business analytics, statistics, AI/ML, and related data-driven decision-making areas. The successful candidate is expected to publish in top academic journals, teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to the intellectual life of the university.

The position is based at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The effective date of employment is August 1, 2027, or when filled. Compensation will be competitive.
