Visteon Corporation is seeking a Thermal System Design expert to join their team in Bangalore, Chennai, or Pune, India. This industry position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, particularly those with expertise in thermal system design for automotive or high-reliability electronics. The role focuses on the development of liquid-cooled products, including displays, infotainment, cockpit electronic products, and electrification vehicle products.

Applicants should possess a PhD or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and have 12 to 15 years of relevant experience. Key technical skills required include proficiency in CATIA/Creo, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and hands-on experience with CFD tools such as Fluent and STAR-CCM+. Basic knowledge of FEA, DFMEA, and experience in designing plastic, sheet metal, and die casting components are also important. Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Friction Stir Welding, brazing, and sealing design is expected.

The position requires strong problem-solving abilities, the capability to mentor and coach mechanical engineers, and effective communication skills tailored to diverse audiences. Experience working in global teams and with international customers is considered an advantage.
