University Assistant Prae-Doc (PhD) in Geometry and Topology – Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry TU Wien in Austria

TU Wien, Austria's largest institution for research and higher education in technology and natural sciences, is offering a PhD position as University Assistant Prae-Doc at the Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry. The position is within the Research Unit of Differential Geometry and Geometric Structures and is limited to 4 years, with a workload of 30 hours per week. The expected start date is September 2026.

The successful candidate will work on a research topic in geometry, supervise exercise classes for mathematics students and those in the geometry teacher training program, and assist with administrative duties.
