The University of Graz invites applications for a University Assistant with Doctorate (Postdoc) in Law, based at the Department of Foundations of Law. As a University Assistant, you will engage in independent research and publication work, with the opportunity to pursue habilitation. You will collaborate on research projects at the Graz Jurisprudence Research Centre, led by Prof. Matthias Klatt, and contribute to teaching and examination activities. Responsibilities also include delivering courses, supporting students, and assisting with organisational and administrative tasks within the research centre.

Applicants must hold a doctorate in Law completed with distinction and have a specialisation in one of the six key research areas at Graz Jurisprudence. Proficiency in German and English at C1 level is essential, alongside excellent communication and teamwork skills, independence, strong problem-solving abilities, precision, reliability, initiative, commitment, and resilience.
