Fully funded PhD/MPhil opportunity in Chemical Engineering at Swansea University , with a research focus on catalysis for energy and environmental applications . The project is supervised by Dr Afsanehsadat Larimi , Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering, whose research spans heterogeneous catalysis, nanocatalysis, photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, CO2 reduction, wastewater treatment, hydrogen production, fuel desulfurisation, water splitting, biomass valorisation, reactor systems, and process modelling/simulation. Funding: full tuition fees, a UKRI stipend , and additional research funding. The post also highlights a strong, research-active environment. Eligibility / fit: applicants should have a strong interest in catalysis, energy, environmental sustainability, and related chemical engineering research.
