Funding:
FAPESP postdoctoral scholarship with a stipend of
R$ 12,570.00

Eligibility highlights:
PhD obtained within the last 7 years in Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Agronomy, or related fields; proven bioinformatics experience with genome and/or transcriptome analysis; familiarity with Linux, command line, and computational pipelines; and experience in areas such as genome assembly, gene annotation, TE annotation, comparative genomics, RNA-seq, phylogenomics, gene family analysis, or functional analyses.
Preferred profile:
ability to document analyses, prepare technical reports, contribute to English scientific writing, and use R, Python, Perl, Bash, or similar languages. Prior experience with plant genomes, PacBio HiFi, Oxford Nanopore, Hi-C, pangenomes, or plant genome evolution is a plus.
