Postdoctoral Position in Contemporary Philosophy of Science at UM6P

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), through the ACPPS Research Center, is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher in Contemporary Philosophy of Science . This is an interdisciplinary opening focused on the philosophy and epistemology of contemporary physics, mathematics, and logic, as well as the philosophy of Artificial Intelligence and ethics. The position is hosted by the Arabic Classical Philosophy and Philosophy of Sciences (ACPPS) center at UM6P in Morocco. The research environment is described as dynamic and international, with a group of more than ten researchers working on Arabic classical philosophy and philosophy of sciences. The campus is located in Ben Guerir, near Marrakech. Supervision: the postdoctoral researcher will be co-supervised by Professor Ali Benmakhlouf and Professor Abdelouahab Rgoud . Funding: the post-doc is fully funded and offers roughly 20,000 dirhams per month (about 2,000 euros ). The role includes teaching assistant duties, with possible additional support for teaching and consulting work. The post is one-year renewable, with the listed period October 2025 to October 2026. Eligibility: applicants must hold a PhD. The post is especially suitable for candidates with strong backgrounds in philosophy of science, epistemology, AI ethics, or related areas. Additional strengths include publications in international journals and professional experience related to collective intelligence themes.
