Postdoctoral Position in Development Economics, Gender, Health, Environment, and Behavioral Economics at Université de Rennes

Call for applications: two-year postdoctoral position in Development Economics at the Center for Research in Economics and Management (CREM), Université de Rennes, France. The postdoctoral researcher will work with Ann-Kristin Reitmann , Junior Professor of the Chair Behaviors, Perceptions and Societal Transformations , on projects at the intersection of development economics, gender, health, environment, and behavioral economics . The role is based in Rennes and is part of a joint research environment involving Université de Rennes, University of Caen Normandy, and CNRS. Research focus: experimental or quasi-experimental methods, applied microeconometrics, field experiments, survey design, and related empirical approaches. The postdoc is also encouraged to develop an independent research agenda and participate actively in CREM activities. Eligibility highlights: PhD/doctoral degree in Economics completed or near completion; strong quantitative and empirical methods background; proficiency in Stata, R, or equivalent; excellent English; French is an asset; experience with data collection is beneficial. Funding and terms: 24-month contract with an estimated net salary of €2,000–2,200 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
