PhD Positions in Photonic Quantum Systems (PhoQS FUTURE Graduate Program)
Paderborn University, a leading research institution in Germany, is offering up to 10 fully funded PhD positions within the Graduate Program PhoQS FUTURE at the Institute for Photonic Quantum Systems (PhoQS). The PhoQS institute brings together experts from physics, computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, and information technology to advance integrated photonic quantum technologies. The institute is renowned for its interdisciplinary research, strong industry and academic collaborations, and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities housed in the PhoQS Lab. The PhD positions are available in experimental and theoretical physics, electrical engineering, computer science, and mathematics, with a focus on any aspect of photonic quantum systems. Successful candidates will participate in cutting-edge research, contribute to academic dissemination through conferences and workshops, and complete a doctoral thesis in their chosen discipline. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and offers a structured graduate curriculum, financial support for international research stays, and personalized support for international students.
