for the 2026–2027 academic year in Manhattan, Kansas, United States.

Applicants should have native, near-native, or advanced proficiency in Spanish and a master’s degree in Spanish, Hispanic Studies, Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, Language Pedagogy, or a related field. The department especially values experience or promise in helping students develop communicative and intercultural skills in Spanish. Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree or ABD in a related field, post-secondary teaching experience, and interest in high-intermediate Spanish courses.
Service responsibilities may include contributing to a weekly Spanish conversation hour, planning co-curricular events, and participating in departmental initiatives and committees. The position is on-site, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Salary is listed at
$48,000–$52,000
