The research aims to develop and optimise methods for extruder-based food products for both human and animal consumption, improve formulations for novel edible films and coatings, and optimise extraction methods for bioactive recovery from food waste. These topics are highly relevant to the fields of Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, Agriculture, and Environmental Science, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovative food technologies. Applicants should hold a BSc and MSc in Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related field from a reputable institution. An IELTS score of 6.5 or higher is required, and candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. The positions are full-time and funded for three years, providing tuition coverage and a stipend for living expenses.
