Postdoctoral research fellowship:
1-2 postdoctoral fellows are being recruited for full-time, fixed-term appointments of up to 3 years. Research topics include impacts of human activities on biodiversity and ecosystem services, effectiveness of biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration strategies, and human-wildlife interactions, including conflict and contributions of wildlife to human well-being. Applicants should have a PhD completed or near completion in Conservation Science, Geography, Remote Sensing, or a related discipline, with strong publication records and skills in Python, R, JavaScript, GIS, or Google Earth Engine preferred. Experience with large ecological data analysis and Google Earth Engine is especially desirable.
Funding:
Applicants are expected to apply for either the Fudan University Postdoctoral Fellowship (3 years, about USD 70,000/year) or the Shanghai Postdoctoral Fellowship (2 years, about USD 52,000/year). The post also mentions a salary range of USD 52,000-70,000 per year.
