Research Assistant Position in Class Action Litigation and Access to Justice (Summer 2026)

Research Assistant Position – Class Action Clinic, Faculty of Law, University of Windsor The Class Action Clinic at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law is hiring a full-time Research Assistant for Summer 2026 , with a possible extension into the 2026–2027 academic year . The role supports research and analysis of class action litigation for the Clinic’s database, research grant applications, final research reports, annual reports, administrative documents, and event organization. Research areas and keywords: class action litigation, access to justice, Indigenous law / Aboriginal law, civil litigation, legal research, qualitative research methods, grant writing, and research writing. Eligibility highlights: applicants must be currently enrolled at Windsor Law and have excellent research and writing skills. Preference is given to students with interest or experience in class actions, access to justice, Indigenous or Aboriginal Law, or civil litigation. Experience with research methods courses or qualitative research methods is preferred, and prior grant writing experience is an advantage but not required. Position details: remote or hybrid work; 35 hours per week; duration May–August 2026 with negotiable start and end dates; compensation is CAD 22.00 per hour .
