Master's applicants must be at least 30 years old, and PhD applicants at least 35 years old. Applicants must not be currently studying for the same degree level in China, must not hold other assignments or scholarships during the award period, and cannot apply to both USTC and UCAS simultaneously. Annual academic assessments are required to maintain the scholarship.
