Responsibilities include integrating a 3,000-sample feed library, adapting the CNCPS for regional use, conducting comparative life-cycle assessments of milk production, and developing data management systems. The role involves travel to India (up to twice per year) and collaboration with industry stakeholders. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Animal Science, Dairy Nutrition, Feed Science, or a related field, with strong skills in ruminant nutrition, feed processing, life cycle analysis, and nutrition modeling tools. The position offers a salary of $62,232 per year.
Assistant Professor in Environmental Physiology:
This tenure-track faculty position seeks a candidate to build a research and education program focused on how environmental stressors impact animal physiology, health, and productivity. The successful applicant will use integrative approaches to study physiological adaptation mechanisms, with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across nutrition, microbiology, immunology, genetics, and sustainability science. The position requires a Ph.D. in animal science, physiology, biomedical sciences, molecular and cellular biology, environmental biology, or a closely related field, with postdoctoral experience preferred. The annual base salary range is $90,000 - $135,000 for a 9-month appointment, and relocation assistance may be available.
