Clinical Athletic Trainer
with a faculty rank of
Assistant Professor of Athletic Training
in the Department of Athletic Training. This is a full-time, nine-month, program-track academic faculty appointment beginning
August 2026

The role combines
clinical athletic training
and
teaching
. The successful candidate will serve as the supervising athletic trainer for the college football team, provide comprehensive athletic health care for the intercollegiate athletic program, and act as a preceptor for athletic training students. Teaching responsibilities include athletic training lecture and/or laboratory courses.

Eligibility highlights:
applicants should hold an earned degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited institution plus a post-professional master’s or doctoral degree in Athletic Training or a related discipline. At least 3 years of experience as a certified athletic trainer is required, along with Massachusetts licensure eligibility and an NPI number. Preferred qualifications include preceptor experience, CPR/AED instructor certification, teaching experience, and EMR experience.
Funding and compensation:
salary is listed at
$61,000–$65,000 annually
